What Scouts Really Do on Campouts?

Have you ever wondered what Scouts “really do” when they go camping? Do they pitch tents and build campfires? Do they go on long hikes and observe lots of wild animals? Do they work on conservation projects? Well, yes, they do all of that. But when they’re back at their campsite relaxing, mostly what they do is just goof around.

Goshen Scout Camp 2009

Troop 100's annual trip to Goshen Scout Reservation has gotten off to a great start.  The boys are having a great time.  The weather is perfect, the food is good (the boys are becoming good cooks), the lake water is warm and clear, and eveyone is pitching in and doing their part to insure a wonderful week for all.
