Philmont Scout Ranch - Summer 2009

On July 6th, 2009, ten Scouts and six Adult Scouters from Troop 100 went on the High adventure trip of a lifetime. The destination was Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. But in addition to doing Philmont's 10 day, 90 mile backpacking trek through the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, there was a nine day after-trip to hike the Grand Canyon.
Goshen Scout Camp 2009
Troop 100's annual trip to Goshen Scout Reservation has gotten off to a great start. The boys are having a great time. The weather is perfect, the food is good (the boys are becoming good cooks), the lake water is warm and clear, and eveyone is pitching in and doing their part to insure a wonderful week for all.
Parent - Son Shines
The May 30-31 Parent-Son Campout was a great time.
Scoutmaster John Le Mon sends his thanks to all, especially those who helped in the kitchen.
The late May weather was wonderful, and we welcomed a new Scout (Michael Vigdor) into the Troop.
