EQUIPMENT LIST
Here is a suggested list of equipment that a Troop 100 Scout should bring on a regular campout. What you need will vary depending on the season and weather.

__ Complete uniform __ Hiking boots or sturdy shoes __ Rubbers, overshoes, if boots not waterproof __ Sweater or Jacket __ Raingear (This might include raincoat or poncho, rainhat, rainhood, rainpants) *If not worn, carry in pack CARRY IN POCKETS
__ Pocketknife __ Matches in Waterproof Case __ Handkerchief or Bandanna __ Wallet with ID and Money CARRY ON YOUR BACK
__ Backpack big enough to hold your equipment and a share of your patrol's equipment and food TOP OF PACK OR IN OUTSIDE POCKET
__ Repair Kit containing: rubber bands, safety pins, needles, thread, buttons, shoelaces, cord, extra plastic bags __ Trash Bags (2) __ Pack cover (You can make from a trashbag) or purchase from Campmor, HTO or REI __ 25 feet of Parachute Cord __ small amount of Personal Toilet Paper in baggie to stay dry INSIDE PACK __ Extra pair of shoes, moccasins, or sneakers __ Extra clothing in plastic bags: __ Extra Shirt __ T-Shirt(s) __ Long Pants

__ Canteen or Water Bottle __ Scout Handbook __ Flashlight with new (or extra) batteries __ Plastic Bowl & cup (do not have to be a kit) __ Fork & Spoon (do not have to be a kit) __ Toilet kit including: soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, comb, small hand towel. __ Knit cap to sleep in __ Compass, if you have one __ Individual First Aid Kit OTHER OPTIONAL
