Troop 100 Committee Meeting

(Notes by Dottie – who was late for meeting)
· Christmas Tree Sale was a success. Currently we show the Sale made $2780.00 (up $350 from last year).
· Anniversary Dinner will be on March 5.
· Council Fire – John is assigning the stories. The deadline is February 2.
· Ads for Council Fire – discussed raising the rates (they’ve been the same for a number of years). Donna, Melanie and Elizabeth will decide and circulate letter, ad contract, etc to families. The deadline for ads is February 18.
· Goshen 2011 – July 2 to July 9
· Philmont 2012 – August 7 to 19
· Lesotho – Mike Kirkpatrick reported on recent communication with Michele Bond, head of Boy Scouts in Lesotho (former Ambassador to US, current head of Red Cross), plan for the trip to include a few components: service, fellowship, trek and possible side trip to park in South Africa. Research continues.
· Friends of Scouting representative will visit in February.
· Gail – working out all the issues to get everything on the computer; discussed recruiting for Boards of Review
· Marsh’s Farm – meet at church at 7 and back at church on Sunday around 1:30
